In addition to serving as an adjunct law professor designing and teaching dispute resolution courses for twelve (12) years at Camden Rutgers School of Law and more recently with Rutgers Undergraduate School of Biological and Environmental Sciences Leadership Program, Ms. Petrilla has developed and conducted specialized training programs in communication/conflict management skill building, negotiation, mediation and team building for numerous agencies and organizations. She has also served on the faculties of New Jersey Judicial College, NJ ICLE (Institute of Continuing Legal Education), the NJHRDI (Human Resource Development Institute), and Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Paralegal Program. Below is a list of some of the public, private and nonprofit organizations where she has trained or presented on ADR over the past several years.

  • Mediators: Ms. Petrilla has trained hundreds of judges, lawyers and professionals who serve on the court’s civil and family mediation rosters in basic and advanced mediation. She has provided CLE approved mediation and mediator ethics training through the New Jersey Office of Dispute Settlement, the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators, Rutgers Camden Mediation Center, and Rutgers University Institute of Professional Education.
